Cranial Osteopathy is a gentle and specialist approach to treatment, ideal for babies and children. Using light, calming touch, it helps release tension and supports the body’s natural healing processes. We never use joint-clicking or forceful techniques on younger patients.

Cranial osteopaths are trained to detect subtle, rhythmic movements - called involuntary motion - present throughout the body’s tissues. The skull, formed of 26 finely joined bones, can gently shift in response to these natural rhythms. Disruptions, such as those from birth or minor head bumps, can interfere with this motion and contribute to a range of symptoms.

Children may experience growing pains, disturbed sleep, irritability or other developmental concerns. Cranial Osteopathy can help address these issues by identifying and easing areas of restriction. Most babies and children benefit from 3-4 sessions, receiving safe, tailored care to help support growth, comfort and overall wellbeing.
